Penelope Cruz has blasted claims she’s expecting her first child.

The Oscar-winning actress — who is dating Javier Bardem — was recently said to be four months pregnant.

But at Thursday’s Toronto Film Festival premiere of her latest film, Broken Embraces, she finally set the record straight.

“I start getting some presents from friends saying, ‘Congratulations, you’re pregnant.’ And I say, ‘No, I’m not, so return the presents,’” Cruz, 35, told USA Today. “It’s amazing.”

Further debunking the pregnancy claims, Cruz was photographed smoking Parliament cigarettes with pal Salma Hayek Wednesday at Hollywood’s Chateau Marmont.

Cruz recently told the UK’s Psychologies magazine that she’s keen to settle down and have kids.

“I want to have babies one day but not right now. When I do it I want to do it really well. I want it to be my best project in life,” she said. “I don’t know if I believe in marriage. I believe in family, love and children.”

“I have a tendency to become a mother to everyone around me,” she added. “My brother and sister are always complaining that I’m too protective.”

Of Bardem, she said, “He’s a wonderful man, a great actor.”
