Susan Boyle Cried When She Heard Her Album

Susan BoyleSusan Boyle was “moved to tears” when she heard her new album.

The Britain’s Got Talent star was apparently overcome with emotion when I Dreamed a Dream was played back to her for the very first time.

“I think at the point where she didn’t win, she was afraid everything would be taken away from her and she was going to go back to that little house,” said Susan’s BGT mentor Simon Cowell.

“She didn’t want to go back to that life.”

Boyle recently opened up to Harper’s Bazaar magazine about how her life has changed since becoming a YouTube sensation for her rendition of Les Miserables‘ Dreamed a Dream.

“YouTube? What’s that? A tube of candy? I don’t think so!” she jokes. “That was a shock. The YouTube thing was like a demolition ball.

“It was just overwhelming — to find TV stations camped outside your door and the phone ringing 24 hours a day,” continues the singer, who briefly checked into a clinic in London after losing the show. “It was good. But overwhelming. It was too big for anyone to handle.”

    I am just listening to Susan’s version of the Rolling Stones number Wild Horses which was released on her youtube site today. It is totally breathtaking – no wonder she cried, I am crying too – it is absolutely brilliant. If this is a taste of things to come we are in for such a treat with the rest of the album.What an awesome debut.

    Misti in Seattle… the video has been removed from every site i have tried. Guess they are saving it for the AGT performance and want it to be a surprise. So sorry I didn’t get to hear it. Any other ideas on how to find that anywhere?
