Susan Boyle Touches Down in Los Angeles

Susan Boyle was stunned when she arrived in America Sunday night — after being welcomed by a crowd of 2000 fans and a huge swarm of paparazzi.
The Britain’s Got Talent star touched down at Los Angeles’ LAX Airport and was greeted by chants of “We Love Susan”.
“She had no idea the reaction would be quite so amazing,” a source told UK tabloid the Daily Mirror. “She kept joking, ‘It’s like the Beatles’.”
As she made her way to her car, Susan told fans, “I’m really nervous and quite overwhelmed by the reaction. It’s like nothing I’ve ever come across.
“It’s so flattering and I am really excited about being here. Thank you so much.”
It’s Boyle’s first visit to the US and is her first trip outside Europe. More than 50 police officers were at the airport and Susan will have six bodyguards as protection from over-zealous fans.
On Wednesday she appears on the final of America’s Got Talent, where she will sing the Rolling Stones’ Wild Horses — the first single off her forthcoming album — as well as the Les Miserables’ classic which catapulted her to fame, I Dreamed A Dream.
