Britney Spears is so desperate to find the man of her dreams — she has been auditioning for boyfriends, it has been claimed.

The Toxic singer — who is single after recently splitting from boyfriend Jason Trawick — apparently started flipping through male modeling catalogs when a pic caught her eye.

According to the New York Daily News, Spears took a liking to a Ford agency male model named Bekim Trenova and ordered her aides to invite the 24-year-old to “audition” for a music video in L.A.

“When he got there, there was no camera crew,” a source said. “There was just Britney. She was looking sexy. She made it pretty clear that she was less interested in hiring him than in dating him.

“Bekim found the whole scene very weird. He was polite but not interested. He made some excuse to get out of there.”

Brit’s rep has obviously denied the story, branding it “completely false. She doesn’t know this guy.”

Trenova laughed, “I have no comment.”
