Whitney Houston has opened up about the abuse she allegedly endured during her tumultuous 14-year marriage to ex-husband Bobby Brown.

“He slapped me once, but he got hit on the head three times by me,” Houston, 46, told Oprah Winfrey in a two-part interview that began airing Monday.

Houston recalled one argument where an allegedly drunk Brown, 40, spat on her.

“I was horrified he spit on me, in my face,” she said, adding that Brown’s actions left her feeling, “very hurt, very angry.”

“He had such hate in his eyes for me, because I loved him so much,” Whitney added.

“He was my drug,” Houston said of the Two Can Play That Game hitmaker. “I didn’t do anything without him.”

“One day my mother [Cissy] came to my house … with these sheriffs,” the superstar added. “She said, ‘If you move, Bobby, they’re going to take you down.’ And he stood there, like he was scared..

“She said, ‘Let’s go. I’m not losing you to Satan. I’m not doing this. I want my daughter. I want to see that glow in your eyes — that light in your eyes’.”

Houston is the first guest on Winfrey’s 24th season. The second part of their interview will air Tuesday.
