Taylor Swift Gets a Call From Kanye West
Kanye West has made the call — he phoned Taylor Swift shortly after her appearance on Tuesday’s The View to apologize for crashing her acceptance speech at the MTV Video Music Awards Sunday.
During Swift’s interview on The View, the 19-year-old singer said West had yet to contact her to apologize for his actions.
“He has not personally reached out or anything but if he wanted to say hi (I would),” she said.
After Swift’s comments, West called her and the two spoke, according to a statement from The View.
“After the show he spoke personally to the country music superstar via telephone and has apologized to the 19-year-old singer. She has accepted Mr. West’s apology. The contents of the phone call are to remain private,” it read.

I love Taylor Swift, shes talented and deserved that. SO what if beyonce was around longer noone cares. Kanye was being disrespectful and plus its not like he was nominated in that categorie and every star that was was happy for taylor. If someone did that to kanye im pretty sure he wouldnt be that happy.. and this was just all for publicity for him, he saw how he was loosing respect of alot of people in the industry so now all of a sudden hes sorry. he clearly knew what would happen..
Taylor is just beautiful inside as in outside. That was really mature of her to not respond negatively after the incident (considering her age vs. kanye’s age). She only stated “I do not want to start something…” I don’t think I could have done that. I would be mad and might say something bad. I just like to be fair. If you treat me nicely, you’ll get it back. it you treat me bad, you’ll get the same. That’s why I admire her for that.
