Jennifer Aniston splashed out $20,000 on an antique Mercedes when she first hit the big time — but she’s never driven it!

The former Friends actress says the car was her first impulsive big gift to herself.

“I bought an antique Mercedes for $20,000 that never has been ridden in or driven by me, however long that’s been,” Aniston told Parade magazine. “I got a lemon. I bought it off Melrose Ave.

“I should have known better. It was sitting on like the side of the road and I was like, ‘Oh my God! It’s a 1969, you know, 280SL!’ So I bought it and it just wouldn’t move.”

Jennifer, 40, insists she doesn’t let things get on top of her. “I say, ‘Stay positive.’ It doesn’t mean that we can get through anything,” she said. “But we have to recognize that it’s fear that sort of sets everything on fire and spreads until everybody kind of gets on the fear bandwagon. That’s just ridiculous.”
