Houston Still Has a Problem

Whitney HoustonWhitney Houston still fights the urge to take drugs.

The Queen of The Night singer still thinks about taking crack cocaine and marijuana — the substances she was addicted to when she was married to singer Bobby Brown — but turns to God when she feels tempted.

“Don’t think I don’t have desires for it. It takes me a minute to cleanse. I have to pray it away,” Houston told chat show host Oprah Winfrey in the second part of a tell-all interview.

“I take things one day at a time. If I get weak, I know who I can turn to. I know God loves me.”

Whitney did admit she still sometimes drinks alcohol, but is now completely free from drugs.

In the first part of her interview with Winfrey, Houston revealed that she “forgot ” she was a singer during the depths of her drug addiction.

“I didn’t think about the singing part anymore. I’d totally forgotten about that life. I had so much money by that time.”

She went on to detail how she and Bobby, 40, would ‘freebase’ crack in marijuana joints, adding, “We were lacing our marijuana with base. We would buy a kilo. We were not pipe smoking.

“You roll it up and you smoke it in your weed. It’s almost like heroin cocaine speedballs but you level it off with marijuana.”

    I feel sorry for Whitney , I can’t beleive once again that the people around her are not telling her a drug is a drug is a drug and alcohol is a drug .this is the same kind of behaviors by so called professional people that have put MJ in a casket.Whitney if you read this get a sponcer your life is in danger!

    Sit in a few AA meetings and you will hear many a tale of people relapsing by using a drug they “didn’t have a problem with”.

    When an alcoholic or addict tries another mood altering, substance, thinking they can handle it because it isn’t their drug of choice – it is switching deck chairs on the Titanic.

    Please, Whitney, get some more help and don’t fool yourself.

    She had a problem for quite a while. People shouldn’t believe that Bobby was her influencer, because she was into it on her own, as well. She chose Bobby and for good reason, they had similiar characteristic’s, people tend to overlook that. She’s no angel and has never been, despite what her family might have shared, with the media. Lots of it was PR, Big PR, and she was making money for herself and the record industry. As long as that was happening all was covered up, as best as it could be!

    Whitney, this is a great comeback. You inspire so many people with your strength to overcome the addictions who nearly lead you to your death. Keep it up and show does who doubted, that you are still the best female pop singer from then, now and forever.

    sometimes we must let people live their lives in the way they choose to. Oprah and Witney may both have secrets that they don’t want the world to know and that is ok, it GOD that have to judge them not us.

    while we fight to find faults with the interview and how they both don’t get along, they have managed to set that aside and showed the world that differences can be put aside to get the message accross.

    for all we know this might as well be the end of this fued that they might have.
