Barack Obama Calls Kanye West a Jackass — Watch Video

In case you haven’t seen it, here’s the video of American President Barack Obama calling Kanye West a “jackass” for ruining Taylor Swift‘s acceptance speech at Sunday’s MTV Video Music Awards.

“I thought that was really inappropriate, she’s getting an award, what are you butting in,” Obama said in an off the record comment to CNBC. “The young lady seems like a perfectly nice person, she’s getting her award, what’s he doing up there … he’s a jackass.”

Kanye came under fire for storming the stage during Swift’s big moment as she was being presented with the Best Female Video prize.

The rapper grabbed the microphone and told the star-studded audience Beyonce Knowles should have won, but has since apologized to Taylor personally for wrecking her evening.

    I’m glad Obama thinks so!!! thats awesome Kanye needs to know that even the president of the united states thinks he’s a jackass for what he did. He is one, and imagine if someone did that to him, how the hell would he feel, probly pretty shitty. Plus bad publicity all around, now he just is giving himself a bad reputation.

    Kanye has always been a cocky person !!! I’m sorry, Beyonce maybe a good singer, but she’s not the only one who can sing. Just because he things she’s the best, doesnt mean everyone else does. And i agree with Mark’s comment. Trash will be trash even if you put it in a mansion.
