British glamor model Jordan reportedly refused to tell police who raped her.
The star — who claims she was sexually assaulted by a “famous celebrity” in London’s West End several years ago — was “mortified” when detectives contacted her Thursday.
Jordan, real name Katie Price, allegedly told them she would not discuss the attack because the matter “was closed”.
“I’m not going to say anything,” she reportedly said. “What’s past is past and I just want to forget about it the best I can.
“This whole thing has been a nightmare and I wish I never said anything in the first place.”
But police are legally obliged to investigate Katie’s claims, and are expected to visit her Surrey mansion to quiz her further.
“They still intend to conduct a full interview with her,” a source said. “Their position has not changed. Rape is a serious crime and it is their duty to investigate it.”
Rapist’s identity known to film crew
It has been claimed that Katie confessed the identity of her alleged rapist as she was being filmed for her reality TV show, What Katie Did Next.
However, the show’s entire production team have been banned from telling anyone else the mystery star’s name in case it leaks out to the press.
“There is a three-line whip here. A handful of people know who it is but they are absolutely not allowed to even tell their loved ones,” a source told British newspaper The Sun.
Katie’s friends has claimed the 31-year-old beauty was too scared of the celebrity to report him to the police but say the attack left her devastated.
“She told how he became violent towards her after not getting his way. At one point he made a move for her throat. It sounded terrible,” the pal said.
“She told me about it a few years later. She told me in such a matter-of-fact way it was almost as if she had come to terms with the attack… It was like she had been hardened up by what had happened. At the time she was too scared to report it.”
