Whitney Houston is ratings gold!
The pop diva’s appearance on the 24th season premiere of The Oprah Winfrey Show drew huge ratings.
The show was up 45 percent from last season’s premiere.
The premiere also received the highest single-day rating for Oprah in close to 2 years, according to reports.
In her interview interview with Oprah, Whitney talked openly about her drug abuse and marriage to Bobby Brown.
Meanwhile, Hoston’s comeback album, I Look To You, has gone straight to number one in the United States.
The record has shifted a whopping 305,000 units, according to the Billboard album chart.
It is the biggest first week sales of Whitney’s career and the biggest of any female artist so far this year.
