Victoria Beckham is worried her dream life in Hollywood is about to come crashing down — and is doing everything she can to save it, according to reports.

The former Spice Girl is desperate to stay in Los Angeles while her soccer star husband, David Beckham, has his sights set on moving back to Europe for the sake of his football career.

“Victoria’s trying everything she possibly can to make her Hollywood life work out at the 11th hour,” an insider told the UK’s Now magazine.

“Simon Cowell has told her that even if her guest appearance on American Idol — which won’t be screened until January — doesn’t work out, he’ll give her something else.”

Victoria, sources say, is on the brink of an emotional breakdown.

“On September 4, her Porsche broke down in Culver City and she just burst into tears,” said the insider. “She’s been busy looking after the kids while David’s been away playing football and it was all getting too much for her.

“Victoria was always more at home in LA than David was and she’d like to buy some more time to cement her A-list status in the US.

“She understands that David needs to play in Europe for the sake of his football career, but she won’t accept that her Hollywood dream is over.”
