Anna Friel ‘Spends $16k at Fair’

Anna Friel clearly isn’t the feeling the pinch — she reportedly spent $16,000 at a London vintage fair.
The Pushing Daisies star recently took a trip to a retro fair in Clerkenwell Green in London where she allegedly dropped thousands of dollars vintage items.
“Vintage junkies love this fair because it has loads of samples by designers such as Alexander McQueen up for grabs and Anna was buying like there was no tomorrow,” a source said.
“She bought dresses, twinsets and luggage, and her bill came to £8,000. There was no stopping her.
“She tried on a gorgeous Ossie Clark dress, which looked amazing but didn’t quite fit. It was $1600 and after much um-ing and ah-ing, she put it back on the rail.”
Anna, 33, recently insisted she “never” takes her career success for granted.
“I would never take success for granted –I feel very lucky to be working at all,” she said.
“I often think: ‘Don’t you dare for a second moan about your lot! You should feel humbled and grateful for all you’ve got!’
“I want to appreciate what’s going on, as I’m doing it. If we keep looking ahead to the future and thinking, ‘What’s next?’, we’ll miss something wonderful in the present.”
