Miley Cyrus has launched a scathing attack on the paparazzi that constantly follow her — branding them “creepy” and “disgusting”.

The Hannah Montana star, 16, says she hates being hounded by the celebrity snappers.

“Being a paparazzi (sic) is the most disgusting job imaginable,” she wrote on her Twitter account.

“Being followed around by creepy photographers is not in the job description. You try being stuck inside because creepers are waiting for you.”

Responding to a post from blogger Perez Hilton that suggested she was friendly with some members of the paparazzi, Cyrus said, “There’s nothing I can do about it so I might as well smile.”

It was recently reported that Miley is set to make a cameo appearance in the eagerly-awaited Sex and the City movie sequel.
