Robert Pattinson ‘Skewers Himself’

Robert PattinsonRobert Pattinson is so fed up with his sex symbol status, he’s started to skewer himself!

The British actor — who was recently named the Sexiest Man In The World — apparently throws darts at magazines with his face on the front cover.

“Rob got a magazine cover with a picture of his face on it and pinned it to a dartboard that was in his trailer,” said a source close to the star, who’s currently in Vancouver, Canada, filming the third Twilight flick, Eclipse.

“He took shots at it and asked everyone else to do the same,” the source told American tabloid the National Enquirer.

Pattinson, 23, clearly has issues when it comes to looking at himself.

The Hollywood star recently revealed that he never bothers to watch his performance after he has completed a movie — because it’s like “self-flagellation” and he doesn’t want to “piss on anyone’s grave”.

“It’s like self-flagellation, so why would I bother?” British magazine The Guardian Guide quoted him as saying.

“And I didn’t want to piss on anyone’s grave. It was hard to watch my first scene in which I turn up in this funny little hat.”

    This makes me like him more, but also kind of sad. I love that he couldn’t care less about his fame and wish he could have a normal life. But then again, it’s his own darn fault for being so darn lovable! Hang in there Rob, we love you!

    robert pattinson is very unique in his own ways, thats whats so beautiful about him, every celebrity i have come across has never really interested me like robert pattinson. he was the perfect actor for twilight and i am so glad i watched it, he doesnt even know i exist, so robert just carry on being yourself. fame or no fame its the heart that really counts. love rumena x

    Yes, this makes him more attractive!! Robert you might want to act like a jack*** and then people might not like you as much. But as for me………. I LOVE YOU!!!! Sorry…you’ll have to deal!!! LOL!!

    I totally agree with Rumena.. He is so genuine and has got a great soul… Actually this is the reason why people love him so much.. I was never interested in celebrity lives until Rob came to prominence.. He is so modest and honest… I don’t think i’ve actually met another person who is like him..I love him so much…

    Rob could blow away those Hollywood hunks, but he doesnt have to. He stays true to himself. I hope he never feels the pressure to be perfect.

    I don’t blame Rob for not wanting to see himself in that funny hat, that movie was a bad career mistake and someday soon he’s going to have to live it down. I think his best so far as being a success is Edward, like it or not, it’s what made him famous. He could’ve made Dali, The bad Mothers Handbook , How To Be,and the others and would have gone unnoticed. He wasn’t that attractive in the other movies, either. Thank the makeup artists and the photography people in Twilight for the artistry to bring the attention to him. C’mon, Rob, pull yourself together, just get better security, pay for it yourself if you have to.
