Randy Quaid and Wife Arrested in Texas

Randy QuaidRandy Quaid and his wife, Evi, have reportedly been arrested in Texas.

The couple were taken into custody for allegedly failing to pay a $10,000 hotel bill in upscale Santa Barbara, Calif.

They’re currently being held in the town of Marfa in west Texas, Presidio County Sheriff’s officials told the Associated Press Thursday.

The actor — who is the brother of actor Dennis Quaid — and his wife are being held on bail set at $20,000 bail each, according to the office’s spokesperson, Drew Sugars.

The felony warrant is for burglary, defrauding an innkeeper and conspiracy. Sugars also said that detectives had not yet interviewed Quaid.

Randy, 58, is a former Saturday Night Live cast member and best known for his roles in the National Lampoon Vacation movie franchise.

    I heard that this wasn’t the first hotel that they stiffed either. Interesting that they were able to post their $40,000 bail right away yet they couldn’t pay their $10,000 hotel tab. Guess they thought they were above the law because he’s a celebrity!
