Michael Jackson: ‘Madonna Was Jealous of Me, in Love With me and Not Very Sexy’
Micheal Jackson didn’t think Madonna was sexy — and he was convinced the pop superstar was in love with him.
In a nine-year-old filmed interview with his friend Rabbi Shmuley Boteach, due to be shown on TV this week, the tragic King of Pop — who became friends with the Holiday hitmaker in the early nineties — made some scathing remarks about the reigning Queen of Pop.
“I think she [Madonna] likes shock value and she knows how to push buttons on people,” Jacko told Boteach. “I think she was sincerely in love with me and I was not in love with her. She did a lot of crazy things. I knew we had nothing in common.
“She is not sexy at all. I think sexy comes form the heart in the way you present yourself.”
Jackson believed Madonna — and several other stars — were jealous of his career. “They admire you and know you are wonderful and great because they are jealous, because they wish they were in your shoes,” he said. “Madonna is one of them. She is jealous. She is a girl, a woman and I think that’s what bothers her…
“I get the fainting and adulation and she doesn’t.”

Haha! Madonna jealous of Michael? I think Madonna pitied Michael Jackson for many reasons. If this was 9 years ago, then Madonna was at the top of her game in 2000 recently scoring her 12th #1 single “Music”, going on sold-out shows all around the world and selling 12 million albums! I think it’s pretty pathetic how he thought she was jealous of his success and adoration, when she obviously tremendously admired him in the beginning of her career. I think she saw right through it and like she said, “abandoned” Michael. This is a brutal light he shed on Madonna, but I think it sort of paints a picture of jealousy from his side. I think he was jealous of her being a strong, successful, socially competent, free spirit with a child born the old fashioned way and a year into her second marriage at the time of this interview.
