Michael Jackson: Thriller Was Crap

Michael JacksonMichael Jackson thought his Thriller album was “crap” — until a visit to a children’s playground changed his mind.

In lost tapes from an interview dating back to the early 1980s, the tragic King of Pop revealed how almost scrapped the album because it “sucked”.

“Thriller sounded so cr*p. The mixes sucked,” he said. “When we listened to the whole album, there were tears… I just cried like a baby.

“I stormed out of the room and said ‘we’re not releasing this. Call [record company] CBS and tell them they are NOT getting this album. We are NOT releasing this.’

“I felt terrible. One of the maintenance crew in the studio had a bicycle and so I took it and rode up to the schoolyard. I just watched the children play.

“And when I came back I was ready to rule the world. I went into the studio and I turned them songs out.”

Thriller, which was finally released in November 1982, went on to sell more than 70 million copies worldwide.

    no one can deny the fact that hitler was a genius but evil and MJ was sooo good and loving person that he thought,because of his awful childhood, that if those evil people had gotten a little love in their lives,they wouldn’t have been so evil ,which is really sweet. he is right about M SHE BASHED HIM TO THE MEDIA AFTER THEIR DATE. THIS SHOWS us how insecure he really was he had the lowest self estim ever. he had suffered a lot i was also abused by my father and i know how it feels, those feelings live wz u forever, and no one can blame or hate him just because he was hurt a lot and it really makes sense that he turned out weird but still wz all the pain a loving person. i wish someone of the media would just put it out R.I.P. ANGEL

    I think that it is Michael Jackson who died on June 25th, 2009 and not his fake because there is no other person with a voice like Michael Jackson’s. Its just not possible because it was a gift from God to him so i think its definitely Michael Jackson who died.
    Well his songs really touch my heart and i feel that he is still alive.Cant say that he is dead.He still lives in my heart and his songs will always be the best.
    About his children, he may not be their real father or may also be but whatever it is, he really loved them. The press has no work besides spoiling the name of ” THE KING OF POP “. I REALLY MISS MICHAEL JACKSON. He is the best and will always remain the best in the entire universe.

    Some people say that Michael Jackson was acting weird during the shoot of the video ” WE ARE THE WORLD ” BUT I FEEL HE WAS JUST IN SOME TENSION. That’s all and nothing else.His song ” HEAL THE WORLD ” is the best song in the entire universe and when i listen to it i really start crying because it makes me remember Michael Jackson and i feel he is still there somewhere at his house and not dead. Why did God do this with him? That’s all i want to know. His songs were extremely great,mind blowing and i am speechless.THERE IS NO OTHER LIKE HIM AND WILL NEVER BE ALSO.I LOVE YOU MICHAEL JACKSON. We will find out the truth about you and your death because the truth cant hide forever because it has to come in front some day or the other

    You just have to read Moonwalk to see how it really went for the whole story. Cutting out certain IMPORTANT pieces makes the story seem a whole lot different. And the Rabbi is supposed to be a man of God????

    You’ve got the story partly right. Quincy Jones has talked @ this in several interviews already. After they recorded all the songs, he & Michael listened to the album w/the record execs & decided the mixes were terrible. They took the weekend off, then re-mixed a song a day – which was pushing it, to say the least. THEN it was ready for release to the world. That was the Thriller that went on to be the best selling record of all time.
