Kanye West Rehab Bound?
Kanye West has an alcohol problem — and is constantly getting into rowdy drunken states where he loses control of reality, it has been claimed.
The Stronger hitmaker — who caused controversy when he stormed the stage during Taylor Swift’s acceptance speech at the MTV VMAs earlier this month — is heading for a stint in rehab, according to a report in UK tabloid the Daily Star.
“His drinking is getting worse,” a source told the paper. “When he has too much he can be mean and obnoxious. If he doesn’t get help soon, things could really spiral out of control.”
West is planning to check into rehab after he finishes his Fame Kills tour with Lady GaGa in January.
“Kanye doesn’t want to spend time in rehab but knows he needs help and is taking steps in the right direction,” the insider added.
“He’s been boozing heavily ever since his mother died following her tummy tuck operation a few years ago.”
West, 32, blamed the pain from his mother’s 2007 death for causing him to grab the mic from Swift, 19, as she accepted her Best Female Video award.
“And you know, so many celebrities, they never take time off. I’ve never taken the time off to really — you know, just music after music and tour after tour,” the rapper recently told talk show host Jay Leno.
“I’m just ashamed that my hurt caused someone else’s hurt — and I don’t try to justify it because I was just in the wrong. That’s period.
“But I need to, after this, take some time off and just analyze how I’m going to make it through the rest of this life, how I’m going to improve. Because I am a celebrity, and that’s something I have to deal with.
“And if there’s anything I could do to help Taylor in the future or help anyone, I’d like — you know, I want to live this thing. It’s hard sometimes.”

It amazes me that he blames embarrassing Taylor Swift on his mom’s death. The two are unrelated just say you acted like an idiot don’t make excuses. And I do wish him the best I just no longer will listen to his music or help him gain more fame.

When I saw him walking down the red carpet with (whoever, or whatever she was) chugging on a bottle of Cognac I thought…Hmmm, this can’t end well…and it didn’t. Now it’s his Mom’s death that made him do it. Stand up and be a man and take responsibility for your actions.
They may not be completely unrelated. I definitely noticed he changed after his mom died. He’s always been obnoxious and arrogant but after his mom died he went off the deep end. Anyways, my point is how do you know it’s completely unrelated? If instead of coping with his mother’s death he turned to alcohol and became an alcoholic, that IS related. He was drunk that night. I’m not sure that is the case but if it is. It’s definitely related. Honestly, I think what he did was DISGUSTING but it’s beyond perplexing how people seem madder at him for embarrassing Tay than they are at people like Chris Brown who physically assault people.
