Charlize Theron keeps her Oscar in the bathroom.

The South African star won the Academy Award for Best Actress for her role in the 2003 movie Monster.

And Theron says the gong gets pride of place in the smallest room in her house.

“It’s a bathroom that a lot of people use,” she says. “And a lot of times people will come up and be like, ‘I just walked past an Oscar!’ I’ll be like, ‘I know. Isn’t that awesome?’ It just seems like the right home for it.”

Charlize, 34, recently revealed that she isn’t bothered about going nude on screen.

“I don’t really think about it much,” she said. “I read the scene and if it makes sense I do it. I treat it the same way as I would any other scene. Whether it’s a nude moment or sitting at a bar drinking, it’s all choices. I don’t think about it as nudity.”
