Vince Vaughn hates mobile phones.

The Wedding Crashers star is so hung-up about mobile phones he refuses to carry one and insists on borrowing his friends’ devices should he ever have to make or take a call.

“The phone thing drives me crazy,” says Vince. “Everyone is phoning and texting. It’s become a problem for me with pay phones becoming extinct.

“Now I just drive the people around me mad by using theirs. I just started to email which I like but cell phones drive me mad. I’ll never own one unless I absolutely have to.”

Vince — who is engaged to his girlfriend, real estate agent Kyla Weber — recently revealed that he’d quite like to have children.

“It’s the first time that I really want to have kids,” he said.

“I’ve been very fortunate in my career, and my life has been about that for so long that you get bored of it. You’re ready for your life to be about other people and other things.”
