David Boreanaz: ‘Newborn is Happy and Healthy’

David Boreanaz says his newborn daughter is “happy and healthy”.

The actor welcomed his second child, Bardot Vita, on August 31, 2009.

And Boreanaz insists the baby is doing just fine.

“Everyone is happy and healthy,” said the Bones star. “It’s all good.”

Boreanaz compared the transition into fatherhood to the situation his character of Seeley Booth is working through on Bones, calling it a “very interesting road … looking at love, finding it and trying to apply it to somebody who really is special.”

David married in wife Jaime Bergman in 2001. They’re already parents to son Jaden Rayne, 7.

Boreanaz previously revealed that he had to stay close to home in case Bergman, who had been on bed-rest, went into labor.

“I must maintain a 20-mile radius. I cannot travel beyond that,” he said.

“If I do, I’ll freak out — I have to be there when the baby comes.”

“We’ve been trying to have another baby for a couple of years now so we are beyond excited,” Bergman has said. “We’re over the moon.”
