Robbie Williams Would’ve Died Without Rehab

Robbie Williams is glad he checked into rehab — because he would have died if he didn’t seek treatment for his addictions.
In an interview with GQ magazine, the singer, 35, revealed how his addiction to prescription medication — including sleeping pills and painkillers — almost killed him.
“There was a lot of awful stuff going on,” he said. “I found myself in the same f***ing place that I’ve found myself in periodically since I was 17.”
Asked what would have happened if he had not gone into rehab, Robbie said, “I would have died… A heart attack, I think… The left arm was going numb, chest was contracting. That’s the sign, isn’t it, that you’re on your way out?”
It was recently claimed that Robbie is planning to marry girlfriend Ayda Field, who he has dated for a little over two years.
“Robbie is so loved up with Ayda, they are inseparable at the moment,” a source told British newspaper The People.
“He talks a lot about them getting married and has even suggested that they are engaged and deciding where to hold their wedding.
“Robbie hasn’t had much luck with women over the years so he is delighted he has finally met someone who actually gets him. They are very happy together.
“But Robbie likes to try and have some kind of private life after so many years in the spotlight, so he is doing all he can to keep the details private.”
