Taylor Lautner admits he gets embarrassed when he has to show off his buff body.

The 17-year-old actor — who goes shirtless in several scenes in Twilight sequel New Moon, due out in November — told BoxOffice magazine that it’s “weird” when his family sees the topless pics taken to promote the upcoming films.

“It’s embarrassing for me,” he said. “And I’m sure it’s awkward for all of them. I’m hoping that [I don't get teased by my family] because I’ll start blushing.”

Taylor recently admitted it was a struggle for him to bulk up for New Moon.

“The hardest part was actually eating a lot of good foods and cutting out all of the fat foods,” he said. “It was about always putting something in your mouth.

“Every two hours, I always had to have something. So, that was the most difficult part for me, for sure. I knew what I had to do and that’s what I did. I stayed focused, and it all worked out well.”

Taylor and his costars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are currently in Vancouver, Canada, filming Eclipse — the third film in the Twilight movie franchise.
