Taylor Swift wants to be unpredictable.

The 19-year-old country superstar — who recently insisted she doesn’t mind not having a boyfriend  — says she wants to make music that’ll surprise people.

“My ultimate career goal is to establish myself as someone who is not predictable,” she said.

“There are a few artists that are always throwing out a curveball, and when you hear they’re coming out with something new, you don’t know what it’s going to sound like.

“I would like to keep on making decisions that cement me in people’s minds as someone who is not going to make the same musical decisions over and over again. As my life changes, so will my music.”

Taylor says she writes about her life.

“I write about what happened to me that day, or I write about how I feel,” she explained. “When I’m finished writing a song, I hear the production in my head. Then it’s all about going into the studio and portraying that accurately — exactly what I hear in my head.

“It’s been a fun process co-producing [my album] because when I write a song, I don’t write that song to fit in a certain genre of music or to be played on a certain format of radio.”
