Breast is best for Amy Winehouse — the troubled singer has reportedly had a boob job!
Amy, 25 — whose body has been ravaged by years of drug abuse — is said to have splashed out on cosmetic surgery at a top clinic in London’s Harley Street in a bid to boost her appearance ahead of her TV comeback on Strictly Come Dancing, the UK equivalent of Dancing With The Stars.
Winehouse will appear on the show Saturday as a backing singer for her 13-year-old goddaughter Dionne Bromfield. She has signed to Amy’s own record label.
It has been reported that Winehouse paid around $70,000 for the op to boost her chest from 32B to 32D.
A spokesman for Amy last night confirmed she had been in hospital, but said it was for a “routine procedure”.
Meanwhile, it has been announced that the Rehab singer will be releasing an album next year.
Darcus Beese, the co-president of her record label Island, said Friday that she is working on tracks for her follow-up album to Back To Black, which sold 10 million copies when it came out three years ago.
“I’ve heard a couple of song demos that absolutely floored me,” Beese said.
“Hopefully we’ll have her album next year.”
