Ugly Betty beauty Vanessa Williams knows she can rely on her stylist — she’s employed her daughter to take care of her fashion choices.

The 46-year-old actress says 22-year-old Melanie — who graduated from New York’s Fashion Institute of Technology (F.I.T.) — helped her pick her outfit for the 2009 Primetime Emmy Awards.

“She’s my stylist now,” said Williams. “She went to F.I.T. and specialized in fashion merchandising.

“She was one of those kids who, when she was growing up, I’d put jeans on her and she’d kick them off and want to put on a pretty dress. She’s a girly, girly girl.”

Vanessa recently insisted she isn’t ashamed about using Botox.

“I work hard at it. I need to look good. But I asked a lot of questions first about Botox,” she said.

“I told the dermatologist that I don’t want to be frozen. As an actress I need to have expression in my face. But it doesn’t hurt. It works. But I think you should ask a lot of questions. Make sure you talk to a licensed dermatologist or plastic surgeon.”
