Jessica Simpson to Replace Dead Dog

Jessica Simpson insists she’ll be buying herself another pet pooch — because her dead dog Daisy wouldn’t want her to be lonely.
Daisy — who was a malti-poo, a cross between a Maltese and a Poodle — was stolen by a coyote in September.
“Daisy meant the world to me,” Simpson, 29, told Us Weekly magazine Tuesday. “I hold her memory very, very close. It was an unfortunate thing what happened. That I don’t have her every day… It’s a very hard thing to talk about.”
Daisy, 5, was a gift from Jess’ ex-husband Nick Lachey.
“I haven’t really thought about another dog yet, but maybe sometime,” Simpson said. “[Daisy] would want that.”
In August, Jessica blogged about Daisy’s sexual orientation, saying she had found happiness with a female hound called Bella.
“Daisy and her best friend Bella back together again. Lesbian lovas forever! (sic),” she wrote on Twitter.
On Sunday, the star Twittered that she didn’t appreciate pranksters sharing false information about Daisy with her loved ones.
“People who have been contacting my family and friends saying that Daisy has been found,” she posted. “Untrue. People are so cruel… please respect her memory.”
