American Music Awards: Adam Lambert and Paula Abdul Announce Nominations

Everyone’s favorite American Idol runner-up Adam Lambert was at the Beverly Hills Hotel Tuesday afternoon to announce the nominations for the 2009 American Music Awards.

The singer — whose eagerly-awaited debut album is due out on November 24, 2009 — reunited with former Idol judge Paula Abdul as he took to the podium to read out the nominations.

    don’t kill me people. as I said i, myself am one of Adam’s biggest fans. just hope that somebody can help him shine more..i know sometimes it’s almost impossible for him to do that. cuz he’s THE brightest supernova in the music world for me for you!! XD

    You know people, American Idol is as hurtful as any BS can be. I can tell
    you for sure what happens to some of the contestants. My grandaughter
    traveled a long distance. sat for 16 hours for a first short audition, SHE WAS
    TOLD SHE HAD A GREAT VOICE! was given a song to practice and come back for second audition, had the expense of traveling home, back again, hotel, etc. and when she appeared in front of the interviewers, and without even finishing the FIRST LINE OF THE SONG she had practiced for weeks, one of the interviewers blurted out, “there are many, better than you”!!!! You tell me, what the hell is that all about! It seems this show doesn’t care how they handle some very good talented people. Yet they take the time to exploit, nonsence and make fun of entrants. So Miss Paula, if you really want to
    bring back some of the good talents that were damaged by Am Idol. get in touch
    with people like me and I will send you one. Wanta hear a voice, I can put you
    in touch. Adam rocks!!!!1

    INASMUCH as I, myself have to admit I was lost in the American Idol Show… because of my love for music, I didn’t realize that this was a reality show and there are a lot of “unknown” goings on with the producers, contracts, etc. YES, it is sad and heart-breaking for the many young people who were rejected for this show! All they care about is ratings and greed for making money off the winner. Anyway, the best thing they did was to introduce ADAM LAMBERT to the public – because he is the best thing since Elvis was introduce on the Ed Sullivan Show (50′). Adam has amazing vocals, and is so multi-talented! He will prove to all those people that didn’t vote for him that he was the true winner by his new song TFM, videos, Cd on 11/24, and his future “sold-out” concerts!!! A-amazing, D-daring/darling A-awesome, M-mesmerizing spells out ADAM!

    If Paula does a new song I think Snoop Dogg should produce it and adam lambert should be in the video! Snoop could remake one of Paula’s hits and he could do a rap in part of the song! and Adam could sing on it too
