Michael Bublé: ‘Emily Blunt Split Was Worst Thing Ever’

Michael BubléMichael Bublé says splitting from Emily Blunt was one of the “worst” things that’s ever happened happened to him.

The Home hitmaker — who is now dating Argentine actress Luisana Lopilato — admits it took him quite a while to get over his doomed relationship with the Devil Wears Prada star.

“One of the worst and greatest things that ever happened to me,” the crooner told UK’s Seven magazine of his split from Blunt. “When it happened, obviously it was devastating, man.

“Emily is truly one of the most amazing and wonderful people that I’ve ever known.

“And really, even now I sit and I’m thrilled that I got a chance to be a part of someone’s life who’s touched so many lives and is so amazing.

“And it’s weird – there’s no more pain. There’s feelings of hurt, but I’m just proud of her. And I’m still great friends with her brother, and I love her family to death.

“And it gave me an opportunity to take a good look at myself and to want to change, and to want to become a better guy.”

Emily, 26, is now engaged to The Office star John Krasinski.

    I agree, the one that got away. The new fiance seems good, but nothing as classy as Blunt.

    It’s ashamed Michael and Emily didn’t stay together. I had heard it was because of his wandering ways while he was on tour. His new girlfriend is ok,but she’s no Emily Blunt. I think Michael will regret losing Emily the rest of his life. Emily was certainly the one that got away.
