George Clooney Takes Girlfriend to Movie Premiere
George Clooney, sporting a rather cheeky little grin, hit the red carpet with current girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis for the world premiere of his new movie Fantastic Mr. Fox in London Wednesday.
Meryl Streep, who also stars in the movie, was due to attend the premiere — but she was forced to bow out due to illness.
Clooney recently joked about adopting some of his pal Brad Pitt’s kids.
“I’m going to adopt some of Brad Pitt’s kids. I owe him a few,” he quipped.
Clooney recently gave Italian TV star Canalis a Cartier diamond ring.
He has also reportedly bought her a Hermés Kelly bag and countless pairs of designer shoes.
“Every day is like Christmas at George’s house for Elisabetta,” a source close to Clooney told American tabloid In Touch Weekly. “He’s even looking at a Maserati. He’s had a great life for a long time, but she seems to make him very happy.”
Fantastic Mr. Fox — based on Roald Dahl’s book of the same name — hits theaters in November.
