Robert Pattinson Might Quit Hollywood!
HAS Robert Pattinson already grown tired of Hollywood?
The rugged star — who is currently busy filming the third Twilight flick in Vancouver, Canada — has told Seventeen magazine that he’s thinking about quitting acting altogether.
“I don’t even know if I want to be an actor that long,” he said. “I don’t even know how to be someone else… if I start doing lame work, I’m not going to stick around and do it!”
Pattinson, 23, recently insisted he doesn’t care what’s written about him in the press — unless his mom reads it!
The hunky British star says his mother always reads rumors about her famous son — and often believes them!
“My mom says, ‘I can’t believe you did this’, and I’m like, ‘I didn’t do it’, she’s like, ‘yes you did, I know you did’,” Pattinson said.
“It was about swearing, I was like, ’say something about sleeping with people and swearing and stuff, I wasn’t even in the city’.
“And she’s just like, ‘no, I don’t believe, I bet you did say that’.”

If he does quit ( not that i want him to) ,i will respect him more and more. You know why? Because i think he is so sincere, i think that he actually fell into acting. It wasn’t the first thing to do on his mind, he just had to make a living out of it. He wanted to be musician with his friends Bobby Long and Sam Bradley. But i think he thought that he would never be able to make money in the music industry. He said so in an interview. His sister being a songwriter and such, he knew it was almost impossible to do any good in that industry. So he took his chances with acting , but ever since he started to get unlucky with the auditions, he thought of quitting and retaking a shot with music. At that time , he got the part in Twilight and everything turned out great for him. It was really pure luck. Therefore, i do not think that he was born to act as some people are. I wouldn’t be surprised if he quitted acting. I don’t think he can live up this hype and paparazzi stuff. I mean seriously, he is not a showman type of guy, with the new saga movies, he will never be able to walk the streets again alone , taking a girl out for dinner without being asked for autographs and being chased by paparazzi. He cannot go anywhere in the world without his security personell present , and that kind of life is so not Rob. In my opinion he will quit – or at least take a break from- acting in a few years and do some music with the money he made. I do not think that he has a long career ahead of him. At least he will be too picky about the scripts and that will keep him distant from the show business..
I love Rob a lot. I do not think that he says these things without thinking. He is always very honest and outspoken. Therefore, I believe that this is his long term plan.Even if he really wants to,he can’t never date Kristen. They wil be followed everywhere, at least by fans if not by paparazzi. They will go insane with this hype.He simply cannot date Kristen, he knows that well and that is why they will never confirm it. Either he will date a not too famous girl or someone outside of the industry, otherwise, he simply cannot be happy.
diana. he only got to his film status from being a rich snob who got where he was from his parents. he fell into it, and just happened to make millions.. poor robert. i do hope he can get out of this hell and become a multi million selling singer. hopefully he can do that well! unlikely.

Louie. We don’t know if Rob was a rich snob or not.He was sent to a private and probably an expensive school , however, i think he comes from a upper middle class family. I am saying upper middle class, because he sounds so educated and cultured and intellectual in interviews. He reads Virgil, Emile Zola and watches Truffaut movies. If a person reads Virgil, he can be considered an intellectual. Have you heard of Virgil by the way? And what makes you think Kristen is better than him? Have actually watched her talk? Do you honestly think she is sophisticated? Do you? She hadn’t even heard of Twilight books before she was cast. Can you point out a single interview on web in which she talks in complete sentences, and fluently explains the character she is playing in that movie? Please do. Because as i have watched every single interview she has given and every single panel she has been to, and never honestly, never have seen her talk normal. She is always confused, she never finishes a sentence, she is so nervous that she can’t even concentrate on the question.She doesn’t quite understand the questions and has poor vocabulary and grammar which fails her to speak as normal as adults do. Rob on the other hand, being a British , is always tongue in cheek, sarcastic, makes good jokes- which is sign of intelligence-and always relaxed even when he is asked an inappropriate question. And the interviewer never gets him, he turns the questions so geniously that makes everyone laugh and jump to the next one. And lastly, no i do not think i will ever meet him,that is the last thing on my mind. But why do people think that we are jealous when we critisize Kristen? So we are supposed to like her otherwise we will be accused of being jealous of her. Or Is she too good to be critisized? No one is too good to be critisized. And why does it bother to you for her to be critisized or disliked? It is really weird that you are getting too defensive for someone you don’t know. By the way, please make a better research next time before commenting on someone.
Diana you call Kristen not sophisticated and unworthy of Robert P but you sure do “know” a lot about her. What you call evidence is impartial ignorance fangirling. Based on your long diatribe against Kristen it is plain to see you resent the fact that you are obsessed with the girl. Whether the obsession stems from hate or love, it still is an obsession. Leave R/K alone whether they are together or not they are still human beings who seem perfectly nice enough. I am sure R/K would find you unnervingly creepy based on your “passionate” spiel of “evidence.”
