Robert Pattinson: ‘Harry Potter Would Have Driven me Crazy’
Robert Pattinson is glad he only signed up for one Harry Potter movie — because any more would have driven him “crazy”.
The hunky British star — who shot to fame as vampire Edward Cullen in the Twilight movie franchise — played Cedric Diggory in 2005’s Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.
But Pattinson admits he wouldn’t have been able to cope with the grueling filming schedule if he had to make more Potter flicks.
“The Harry Potter I worked on took 11 months to shoot,” said the 23-year-old.
“I don’t know how those guys have stayed sane doing it for 10 years. I would go completely crazy.”
Pattinson recently revealed that he might quit acting!
“I don’t even know if I want to be an actor that long,” he said. “I don’t even know how to be someone else… if I start doing lame work, I’m not going to stick around and do it!”
Rob and his costars Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner are currently in Vancouver, Canada, filming Eclipse, the third Twilight movie.

I think Robert likes moving around. He looks like the type. Dorlocita says- You only have one life. Even with riches and happiness, it is all on the one-way road. Enjoy!

Glad he wasn’t a permanent on Harry Potter! I’m not a HP fan so I would have missed out on Rob.
I’m glad he wasn’t in any other Potter movies too. Because there is really nothing all that special about Pattinson. He’s not hot, and he’s really not all that great of an actor. I hope he disappears from the acting world.
I hope Rob sticks around for a long time because he is an amazing actor, who by the way is gorgeous…….. and as for this sparrow person………they must be blind, deaf, and dumb!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I’m glad he was only in one as well – he’s boring and looks hygienically challenged! Blah!!
Thank god.
of course he wouldn’t of been able to cope. he only does his twilight movies in a couple of days. thats all it needs to pull off a wooden performance.
thank god for dan,em, and rupert.
