Robert Pattinson says he’s rarely approached by female fans who want their neck bitten — because he’s hired his own security team to keep them away!
The British actor says he could barely move for Twilight fans until he bought in some burly bodyguards.
“I have all these security men who, whenever I’m going out of the building, I’m carried to places,” Pattinson said when quizzed by a Scottish newspaper about how many girls ask him to bite their neck. “I’ve never even heard anything.”
Pattinson, 23, recently revealed that his mom often believes the tabloid tales about her famous son.
“My mom says, ‘I can’t believe you did this’, and I’m like, ‘I didn’t do it’, she’s like, ‘yes you did, I know you did’,” Rob said.
“It was about swearing, I was like, ‘say something about sleeping with people and swearing and stuff, I wasn’t even in the city’.
“And she’s just like, ‘no, I don’t believe, I bet you did say that’.”
“You try and stay kind of Zen about it,” Pattinson said of his superstar status.
“You just have to learn to accept it all,” he adds with new found maturity.
“I guess the whole thing is that you don’t want to wake up one day and realize that you’ve turned into someone who you weren’t before. And it wasn’t your choice. That’s the danger. And you can’t get it back again.
“That’s the only scary thing, but it’s always really up to you. Most of the time you can control it to some degree.”
