Jennifer Love Hewitt insists her relationship with beau Jamie Kennedy is doing just fine.
The Ghost Whisperer star, 30, is adamant she and Kennedy aren’t on the verge of a split — despite recent reports to the contrary.
“I’m not going to lie — it’s not annoying, it’s hurtful,” the actress said of the breakup rumors.
“It’s really hurtful that people say that. Because he is like the most awesome person.”
Fox News recently claimed that the couple’s relationship is still in trouble from Kennedy’s rumored infidelity with his ex-girlfriend, Britney’s Spears‘ former assistant Shannon Funk.
“I really hate that people would make it seem like he’s not really a good guy, and not treating me well. He treats me very well,” Jen added.
“We are just trying to be really happy. It makes it hard to do that when everybody is putting negative energy out there.”
“I am lucky to be with her,” Kennedy added. “And I love her very much.”
