Salma Hayek is not a fan of the paparazzi!

The actress says she hates it when she and her daughter Valentina are followed by celebrity snappers — and has branded them “weirdos and freaks”.

“What’s freaky is the guy behind the camera who is desperate and so excited because he’s seeing you walk into a supermarket,” Salma said. “I think that’s freaky. They’re the freaks. I’m not the freak. I’m attacked by the freaks. That’s the strange part. I hate it.”

Salma recently revealed that two-year-old Valentina doesn’t care when her superstar mom has to sport a fake beard for her character Madame Truska in Cirque du Freaks.

“Yeah, she saw me with a beard. She understands it’s make-up,” Salma said. “She was seven months old and she was not freaking out. I explained the process to her, and she saw it and was fascinated with it, but she knew not to touch it because it was fake.

“She was with me the whole time, and I had to show it to her, or I wouldn’t have seen her the whole day. I couldn’t put it on and take it off.”
