Kristen Stewart Regrets Signing up For Twilight

Kristen StewartKristen Stewart wouldn’t have signed up for Twilight if she knew how much attention she’d get.

The 19-year-old star — who plays Bella in the smash hit movie franchise — admits she’s struggling to deal with being followed by fans and the paparazzi, and sometimes wishes she could go back to a life of peace, freedom and anonymity.

“I had no idea it would turn out like this when I signed up for the movie,” she said. “And I am glad I didn’t because it would’ve tripped me out.”

Kristen — who’s currently in Vancouver, Canada, shooting the third Twilight movie Eclipse — recently revealed that she hates living in Hollywood.

“What people told me [when I signed on to Twilight] was that there would be a lot of fan girls, people who love the books,” she said. “But people don’t tell you that as long as you’re living in Los Angeles, it’s a show every second of your day. It’s like the Kristen show. And it’s so boring!”

Meanwhile, Kristen and her costar Robert Pattinson are apparently “obsessed” with reading gossip about themselves.

“Rob and Kristen never used to pay attention to what was being written about them in the media but in recent weeks, they’ve become fascinated by it,” a source said.

“They’re obsessed with Googling themselves to find out what the bloggers and fans are saying about them. They find all the rumors hilarious!”

    I don’t know why she would say that, its made her career. I would love to have the life and opportunities she has. Acting as been my passion for years and getting that job is a once in a life time opportunity. Deffinately something i want one day, and i’ll have to fight for a role like that, and pray that i’m lucky enough to get it. I think she needs to realise how lucky she is, and to understand that its the price of fame and you have to understand and accept it before going into that buisness.

    That doesn’t mean she regrets signing up for it, she said she’s glad she didn’t know what it would do to her life. I don’t think she regrets the acting part. I’m bothered when people say her and Rob are ungrateful for what’s it’s done to their lives. It seems to me that they both enjoy acting, but hate the Hollywood scene associated with it and aren’t camera whores like most actors. I for one find it refreshing. Let’s give them a break.

    Becareful what you wish for Samantha- it is harder than you think. I could not imagine not being able to even take a walk. But eventually some other movie and stars will come and the public will be wild after them, they say fame is fleeting. So don’t despair Kristen right now you and Robert are the craze but after the twilight series someone else will take your place.

    I wish she didnt sign up for twilight. She is a sucky bella. And cry me a river that you get paid more then 6 figures to say a couple lines. I bet if she was given the chance she couldnt give up all that money just to go back to her “life of peace, freedom and anonymity.”

    @Adam — who wrote this article. You should be ashamed of yourself. I know you want to draw attention to your article and make ‘big’ news out of Twilight saga casts. But it doesn’t give you the right to make thing out or take people’s words, twist it, cut and paste and then make up something that isn’t true. Shame on your and your this stupid make-up article.
    I am a big big fan of Twilight Saga, I read every single interview that the casts did. Kristen never said that she is regret of doing Twilight film. She said that she didn’t realize how big the film turn out to be. She also said that she is very shy and uncomfortable in front of the big crowd. It is understandable because she used to do the indie movie, now with the success of Twilight saga, of course everyone not her, is so overwhelmed. Of course, she is bothered by papz, not fan…..Shame, Shame on you

    I don’t understand these people who unconditionally defend Kristen. So she can’t be critisized , is that what you mean ? No matter what she says and does and how she swears in public, we have to love and embrace her because she is cute and a natural!!!!It is really unfair. We are free to express our own opinions of her which may contradict with yours. However, we do not deserve to be called names and to be hated just because we don’t like her. People should respect others’ opinion.we do not judge you because -in our opinion- you love an uneducated, spoiled , bad mouthed girl who complains all time and is impolite to her fans!!! Then don’t judge us for disliking her!!!

    Another BS article, for those who don’t know or read all the interviews of Twilight casts, may find this article very controversial. Controversy sells paper and draws attention. And this is what this guy (yeah, right, Adam) tries to do. Kristen is not the first celebrity victim of the cut-paste-twisted story. This is so disgusting and you should be ashamed of yourself — Adam (I doubt that Adam is even your real name). Just like Kim, I. Am. A. Hard. Core. Twilight. Fan and I do read every single interview of Kristen and Rob. She never said that she is afraid of fan or regret for doing Twilight. She was talking about being nervous in front of big live audiences and she doesn’t like being followed by the paparazzi (I don’t blame her). So Adam, your BS story doesn’t sit well with the Twi-hard fan. We, millions of fan, follow their story, we read, we breathe, we memorize every single detail of Twilight casts. You may fool some of readers who don’t follow the Twilight news but not us, the Twi-hard.

    She didn’t say that she regretted signing up for it. I feel so bad for celebrities like her and Rob. The media twists everything they say into what they want. I admit I enjoy reading about the Twilight cast.. because I’m a huge fan. It’s just really annoying when it’s so obvious that whats being written is fabricated. She says the paparrazi freak her out and suddenly she regrets Twilight? I dont think so. and her and Rob probably are dating..but If they don’t want to talk about it or confirm it then good for them. Alot of people don’t want to share that part of their life with the whole world.

I got curious and decided to read your recent posting and it so much full of crap, it seems like you to take different quotes from different places and come up with a half ass story that does not makes any sense. I would like to challenge everyone that does enjoy Kristen Stewart work, to band with me and to stop supporting the garbage that is being put out there about her; she is only 19 years old, still a child in my eyes. That is why I do not buy the smut magazines that have a different story every week that just does not hold any truth. And every time we buy that trash we contribute to the media agenda, they would produce this crap if they did not have consumers to buy it.

She’s real and I don’t think being followed 24/7 and constantly having your picture taken would be as fun as you all seem to think. Yes, they are actors, but they are also real people with real feelings…….so lighten up and give them a break and if you don’t like them why are all the haters always reading every story about them that they can find??????hmmmmm

    I am really afraid that Rob will either end up in rehab or lose his mind in this business. I mean this is first big movie, he was almost unknown before this movie. No one in the industry , no one had this kind of attention and fanbase. He can only be compared with James Dean and Elvis Presley. Not even Brad Pitt had this kind of attention from the fans. You know how both Jimmy and Elvis ended up. One committed suicide and the other overdosed himself. I hope the hype goes down after Eclipse and he starts laying low with the upcoming movies. I mean i hope he has got smart people giving him advice and i hope he does not listen to ones trying make more money out of him. His parents look very decent and smart. I hope he listens to them. He really needs to lay low at least for sometime after this. It is crazy,everywhere he goes the girls chase him down and mob him. Those girls are even worse than the paparazzi, they need to chill out.At least the papz consist of 10 people at the most,and do not try to rip his clothes off. There is an army of girls out there, if he did not have any bodyguards , they would literally hurt him. They cry and beg and pass out. I mean it is crazy. He will develop some kind of phobia after this.Put yourselves in his shoes , he just wanted to do some music and live a quiet life with his friends.Then he needed money and signed up for Twilight and in 5 days his days of walking down the streets by himself were over. I cannot imagine myself there.

    Casting and producers should of used Meagan if they wanted more of a guy fan base of all ages and not just the boy band teenage girl fan base. Not to many guys go crazy over Kristen Stewart and she looks more towards the lesbians side, not that there is anything wrong with being gay at all.
