Whitney Houston ‘Married Bobby Brown to Save Image’

Whitney HoustonWHITNEY Houston married Bobby Brown to try and “clean up her image” — according to the Two Can Play That Game hitmaker.

Brown insists he married Houston for love — but claims the star had an agenda which may have been related to media reports she was “having a bisexual relationship” with her assistant, Robin Crawford.

“[The marriage] was doomed from the very beginning,” Bobby writes in his new book, Bobby Brown: The Truth, the Whole Truth and Nothing But.… “I think we got married for all the wrong reasons. Now, I realize Whitney had a different agenda than I did when we got married.

“I believe her agenda was to clean up her image, while mine was to be loved and have children.

“The media was accusing her of having a bisexual relationship with her assistant, Robin Crawford.

“Since she was the American Sweetheart and all, that didn’t go too well with her image.

“In Whitney’s situation, the only solution was to get married and have kids. That would kill all speculation, whether it was true or not.”

PEREZ HILTON IS THE IDIOT HERE. HE WAS THE ONE WHO RELEASED THE EXCERPTS SAYING IT WAS FROM BOBBY’S “NEW” BOOK. THAT’S HOW THIS SHIT SPREAD IN THE FIRST PLACE. SMH.

    who the hell does he think he's kidding? like he says himself, she was the American Sweetheart, so what image did she have to clean up then? what he says doesn't make any kind of sense. he wanted to be loved and have children? oooh poor boy, he seems to forget he already had like 3 children from 2 different women when he married whitney. what's funny is that whitney never dissed him in public, even in the oprah interview, she kept saying things like "we were partners", when she could have put all the blame on him.
