T.R. Knight is now single and ready to mingle — he’s split from his boyfriend Mark Cornelson, it was confirmed Wednesday.
The former Grey’s Anatomy star is apparently blaming his hectic schedule as the reason for calling time on the romance.
“It just came to a natural end, no hard feelings,” a source told In Touch Weekly magazine Wednesday. “They still care about each other very much.”
Another source told People magazine that the split was “amicable”.
Knight, 36, recently told Ellen DeGeneres that he’s planning to start a family.
“I want a baby,” he said. “I don’t know if it’s going to end up working out, but that would be something I would like.”
Knight said his former Grey’s costar Katherine Heigl — who with her husband Josh Kelley recently adopted Naleigh from Korea — inspired him to have kids.
“I’ve wanted [kids] for a while, so it reinforces it,” he said.
“She’s such a beautiful baby.
“I’m so happy for her and Josh.”
