SALMA Hayek often goes shopping in disguise.

The actress says she was left in the lurch by a party planner just days before her daughter Valentina’s second birthday — and had to go undercover to prepare for the birthday bash.

“Children’s birthdays are a big production now and we had invited between 65 to 70 people,” Hayek told chat show host Jimmy Kimmell. “I was terrified so I hired somebody to plan it for me, but she quit two days before the party.

“She left me with nothing and the worst part was that I told Valentina that Barney was coming and she was so excited.

“I decided I was going to take charge and do it myself . . . so I went downtown in disguise to buy piñatas.

“I’m not going to tell you what the disguise was because then when they see me they’ll know.

“But I was there for two days for hours and nobody recognized me.”
