Whitney Houston Mentor to Team up With Alexandra Burke

ALEXANDRA Burke — whose new album, Overcome, is actually quite good — is set to dominate the American music charts after Clive Davis, the man who made Whitney Houston a worldwide superstar, offered to take the X Factor winner under his wing.
Davis and Burke met at posh Mayfair, London, eatery Cipriani at the weekend — and the 21-year-old was stunned when the music mogul said he was a fan.
“Alex was celebrating her No.1 with friends and family,” a source said. “She got a huge shock when Clive appeared and said he thinks she’s he future of pop music.
“He may even get her to sing at his pre-Grammys party — it would be massive exposure given that the who’s who of the music world are attending. Lucky girl.”
Burke recently revealed how she hids her tattoos from Simon Cowell.
“They’re all hidden,” she told Attitude magazine. “I’m not going to get any on my arm or anything like that or Simon will kill me. He was like, ‘Why are you getting tattoos?’ and I was like, ‘Because I like them.’
“I’m already addicted to the pain of it. The one on my foot killed. I think it’s because it’s on the side bone. I screamed my head off in the shop.”
