Robert Pattinson Does NOT Have a Drink Problem!

Robert PattinsonSOURCES close to Robert Pattinson have shot down claims the actor has a drink problem and needs to check into rehab.

Aussie tabloid NW — who has previously claimed Rob’s girlfriend Kristen Stewart was pregnant with his baby — claimed earlier this week that the hunky Brit has been drinking vast amounts of booze and needs to get help before it’s too late.

The publication quoted a source as saying Rob — who is Canada shooting the third Twilight movie Eclipse — “has been tearing it up in Vancouver and living his celebrity lifestyle to the extreme.”

“He loves the dive bar Loose Moose, where fights break out in the middle of the day and the nights are wild,” the source added.

“On several occasions, when Rob emerges from the club, his clothes have been stained with puke, and his shirt was once buttoned all weird.”

BUT…. as expected, the report isn’t true.

Gossip Cop says it has “been speaking to people close to Eclipse and its stars for three months. No one has ever even hinted at Robert Pattinson drinking too much, let alone staging “a series of out-of-control benders.” We think it’s pretty shameful, even by tabloid standards, to write such nonsense with such weak ‘evidence.’”

    I never thought he had. Shame on the Aussie tabloids. It should be illegal to accuse someone for binge drinking or for being analcoholic…When it is untrue. Poor Rob, his publicists have to follow on every magazine now and issue public statements to clear his profile.That should be a job on its own.
