IVANKA Trump’s wedding to fiance Jared Kushner was a day to remember — according to her no-nonsense father, Donald Trump.

The couple — who got engaged on July 15 — swapped vows at the Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, N.J., on Sunday.

Ivanka, 27, wore a Vera Wang wedding gown, inspired by Grace Kelly.

“It was a great wedding,” Donald told People magazine of his daughter’s big day. “I’m very happy. They’re really a beautiful, smart couple. I think you’ll hear a lot of great things from them in the years to come.”

Donald’s advice to the newlyweds? “Be happy and enjoy your life,” he said.

500 guests, including Regis Philbin, attended the the reception, which was planned by celebrity event designer Preston Bailey.

But let’s not forget the most important thing about Trump and Kushner’s weekend nuptials: The wedding cake!

“The cake was amazing and just beautiful. It was 70 inches on the table with about 13 layers,” described the cake-maker Sylvia Weinstock. “Each layer was ringed with flowers. We had lisianthus, roses, peonies, Lilies of the Valley, baby’s breath — all in the coloring of whites, creams, pinks ivory and flush tones.

“They had several flavors. They had chocolate, carrot, almond and yellow cake all in the multiple layered cake.

“They had some 500 people so they wanted a variety.”
