Mariah Carey’s Hubby to Dress as Ike Turner For Halloween
MARIAH Carey’s husband Nick Cannon has revealed his plans for Halloween — he’ll be dressing up as Ike Turner!
The America’s Got Talent host said he thought it would be a great idea to dress up as the late musician — but his superstar wife is less than impressed and won’t be following suit by dressing up as Tina Turner.
“I want to be Ike and Tina, but she [Carey] doesn’t want to offend Tina Turner.” Cannon said.
“I think it’s an honor.”
Ike — who reportedly died of a cocaine overdose in 2007 — became known more for his stormy relationship with former wife Tina than his music.
In his 2001 autobiography, he admitted, “Sure, I’ve slapped Tina… There have been times when I punched her to the ground without thinking. But I have never beat her.”
Cannon, 29, recently revealed how Carey takes control in the bedroom.
“Don’t believe her when she says I have more gear than she does,” he said. “She definitely has the bigger closet. She’s got more stuff. I have to keep all my stuff in a corner and compartmentalized while she gets her glamor on.”
