Lily Allen Hits The Red Carpet For Q Awards

LILY Allen attended the Q Awards in London last night.
Speaking to reporters on the red carpet, the Smile hitmaker — who recently announced she was retiring from singing — revealed she’s quitting music because she has nothing else to write about.
“I’m definitely taking a break,” she said. “I’ve been on the road for nearly five years so I’m tired and I need a break. I’ve written about just about everything that’s happened in my life so I feel like I need to go out and live a little bit more and then I’ll see what I’m going to do.”
Since announcing her retirement, the 24-year-old star — who won Best Track for her single The Fear at the Q Awards — has been rumoured to have landed a role in Reasons to be Pretty, a stage production in London’s West End.
Although she wouldn’t confirm the speculation, the star says she is open to anything during her hiatus.
“I might be doing the play, it isn’t confirmed yet,” she said. “I’m just keeping all my options open.”
