Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart HAVEN’T Split
ROBERT Pattinson hasn’t been dumped by Kristen Stewart — despite reports to the contrary.
OK! magazine reported Wednesday that Kristen ended things because Rob had been getting too serious too quickly.
“Rob was talking marriage,” dished an insider. “The relationship was also stealing all of Kristen’s attention and keeping her from spending time with her friends and family.
“She told him they need to take a break.”
The magazine also claimed that the pair — who are currently filming New Moon sequel Eclipse in Vancouver, Canada, but are due to wrap this week — came to blows about the logistics of a transatlantic romance, with Kristen wanting Rob to make the move to L.A. and the London-born hunk preferring to stay far away from Hollywood.
But Kristen’s rep has shot down the claim, declaring, “Do you really consider them [OK!] a news source?”
It’s a good job the claims have been debunked — Rob, 23, recently revealed that his mom often believes the gossip that’s written about her famous son.
“My mom says, ‘I can’t believe you did this’, and I’m like, ‘I didn’t do it’, she’s like, ‘yes you did, I know you did’,” Pattinson said.
“It was about swearing, I was like, ’say something about sleeping with people and swearing and stuff, I wasn’t even in the city’.
“And she’s just like, ‘no, I don’t believe, I bet you did say that’.”

By having the rep ‘declare’ that Kristen didn’t dump Rob it’s sort of ‘declaring’ that they are together in the first place.
It’s all such rubbish. They should just come out with the information about whether they are together or not. Everyone thinks they are, and if so there is really no point in them hiding it when it’s what is causing the problems in the first place.
The two annoy me so much! All they do is complain about how they hate the fame and wish that they could just be normal people. But this is them just trying to promote themselves more in hollywood, and try to make everyone see that they are the ‘victums’ its the media against them.
They avoid the questions about their relationship and if they would just tell the truth then the media would finally move on and find something more intersting to talk about!
Bridget, I completely agree with you! I used to like them, but they seem so ungrateful! I’m sure it’s tough dealing with the paparazzi and everthing, but they have so many other good things!!! I’m sick of them, they should just be honest about what’s going on and deal with it!
Why should they have to tell anyone if they are together or not. It is so sad that if they are they can’t go out and have a good time just because people are so CRAZY when it comes to the 2 of them. Totally agree with Bridget and Ava. If they spoke up about their relationship, people would STOP being interested in them. While Rob & Kristen would probably welcome this, it’s the last thing the studio wants. So, I guess we all better get used to this until “Breaking Dawn” has opened in theatres everywhere and everbody has raked in all the cash from this francise.
i love the novels & am excited about new moon & especially the robsten. i guess the way they performed in twilight has gotten me addicted to their personal lives. just can’t help myself-they are two lovely young actors & i wish them the best & they seem down to earth in the interviews i’ve seen, which is good considering their worlds were turned upside down.
Finally people opened their eyes a bit!! I personally think that Kristen changed Rob. Or Rob changed since he has been in love with Kristen!! To be honest-disregarding the tabloid news we’ve read so far,and considering the interviews i watched, i think Rob is a guy with a great soul. I unfortunately do not think the same way about Kristen. That is the main reason why i blame Kristen for changing Rob, or as i have written , the strained relationship she has dragged him into changed him helplessly. Anyway, bottom line is,if they are really complaining about the fame and the fanbase it is a shame. I understand that the teenage fanbase can get really crazy however, they all need to know that the craze will fade away in a few years when all saga movies will be released and these two will go working on different projects in different cities.. I personally do not believe the tabloids i read, but to be perfectly honest,i do not believe their publicits either. Believe they lie as much as the tabloids do,for their own interest.. I remember that many celebrity publicists have denied dating rumors in the past while their clients were actually dating. Remember Brad& Angelina ,Ryan Gosling & Rachel Macadams, etc. Therefore, if their publicists come forward to deny any rumors , it does not mean that they speak the truth. They manipulate it in their own interest and they are usually impolite as well. I personally think that Ok magazine and the other exaggerate stuff however, they don’t lie and make up 100%. I believe that there are actually some sources who really know these guys and leak rumors.Didn’t we think the same way when we first read news about Brad&Angelina in these tabloids and later knew- saw that they were true ? Anyway,even if they go separate ways with Eclipse wrapping , it doesn’t change the fact that they developed some feelings towards each other and had something going on..They also have different schedules for New Moon promotions , therefore,they will not see each other while promoting the new movie either. It is weird.Rob will go to Japan without Kristen ,etc..

I have to agree with Nora and am glad that someone else sees that Kristen has changed Rob so much. Anytime she is around or they spend any length of time together, you can see it on his face. It’s just emotionless. He used to smile all the time and now all he does is look at his feet with an annoyed look on his face…just as she has done all along. And, I do NOT feel sorry for them due to the attention they are getting. I’m sick and tired of the spoiled actors who make millions off of public approval and then complain when the public takes an interest. That is part of the territory. Any actor/celebrity/public figure knows that going in. If twilight had been a disaster, they would both be sitting around crying and wishing for a fan base. Ungrateful!! To be completely honest, I’ve had enough of Rob and Kristen. I don’t believe that it is necessarily Kristen that has changed Rob. The change began when he was in New York filming Remember Me and CRAZY FANATICAL FANS starting lunging at him and attacking him everytime he left his hotel then the pappz came too. When he first arrived there, he tried to just live normally, he went out for coffee with friends, etc. But the fans and press drove him into seclusion and he began to show this misery and often times blank or indifferent look on his face. Honestly, whether he and Kristen are a couple or not, SHE IS A KIND OF SOLICE to him as they are at the moment two peas in a pod, going through the same things, suffering the harrassment, etc. I’m glad they have each other and seem to be trying to get through this with some sanity. I think their non-responsiveness to the pappz and everyone else for that matter is just their way of owning what is left of themselves & refusing to share it with the world. They got paid a ton of money to act & deliver movies, they didn’t sell their souls to the devil pappz and the rest of the world. Let them keep at least a little something…..

The constant demand for information or for the stars to do something i.e. admit a relationship is what is fuelling the interest. This includes certain comments on here. Do you really think that Rob and Kristen admitting a relationship will stop press from continuing to pursue them or chase them down the street? Don’t be so naive. It won’t stop either way.

And if you have lost interest in the movies because your curiosity about whether or not they are “doing it” has not been satisfied, then that says more about you than them. Shallow, silly, and nosy – those are the words that come to mind.
Deja, agree about Kristen’s bad influence on Rob and his change in demeanor. Also agree, though, that the bad experience in NY probably plays a role in the change. I think he’s scared to be too smiley with the paps because then they will only hound him. And if he’s overly friendly with fans who are stalking him, they might follow him to the bathroom and try to fondle him, lol.
Deja and others, I’m sorry but I’ve read PLENTY of times where both Robert and Kristen have said they are proud to be part of this huge opportunity. Rob has said that some of his fans have been “strange” (7 yr old girls asking him to bite them, grown women with bloody scratched necks asking for autographs) but he has never said he wasn’t thankful that he has fans in the first place. He is weary from the huge phenomena of the Twilight saga and the pappz hounding him and somewhat scared that a fan (or pretend to be fan) may harm him because of the frenzied swarms at times and I’m sure Kristen is too. If I were either of their mothers I would be terrified for their safety. There are a lot of weirdo’s out there and not all are harmless. Buy the movies, read the books over and over, but can’t we please for goodness sake give them a little breathing room. I am as addicted to the Twilight stories as anyone I know, I LOVE THE BOOKS and the movie and it makes me smile! The representative didn’t actually say “they did not break up.” They said “do you really trust OK as a news source?” Which still doesn’t answer any questions, at all.
We the fans have turned RPattz and KStew into “zombies” walking with their eyes looking at their feet all the time. They are constantly being harrassed and questionned. One thing is being an actor/actress and another thing is to publish your intimacy with the world. I disagree with those that say if they would simply go public it would die down. Not true in the slightest. They have all but put it on a billboard now and people still stalk them to death. If they make a national announcement about it, the rumors will just change to things like her being pregnant (wait that happened already), they are cheating on each other (wait, that too), they are getting married (wait done that, so has to be divorce time), or some other such drama. They are the hot topic because the movies are still so much in the public eye and coming out about it would not change a thing. The fact is it isn’t our God given right to know if they are in a relationship simply because they chose a job in the public eye.
As for Kristen changing Rob, it is so like women to turn on other women and defend the man. ‘Oh she changed him’ as if they know the man because of the image he portrayed to the public. Both are human and I don’t think either one changed the other, and if they did that means they had a pretty weak character to start with. Fame has had their affect on both, and for those that say they shouldn’t complain about it, neither one of them could have predicted the extent of this and I think there are just a handful of people in the world that have had to deal with it to this extent. Guess what, quite a few of them are dead, so I say bravo to both for handling it as as gracefully as they have and probably twice as gracefully as any of us posting if we had to deal with that.
I am not saying that Kristen is a bad influence. I am just saying that , i have watched most of their interviews and i got the impression that Rob is very down to earth, easy going , and smart. He smiles all the time even if the interviewer is aloof and uptight and all so serious. Plus, he is very humorous and outspoken and honest.However, Kristen always talks in incomplete sentences, stuttering and giving inconclusive answers and is always very nervous and impolite. She is hard to talk to, i mean she does not laugh at any jokes and makes weird facial expressions as if the one she is talking to is talking nonsense or stupid. Plus, she has a bad mouth. Maybe, they are both changed because of the fan mobbings and the hype of all this. to me though , knowing the fact that Kristen is impolite in general , she is likely to change the guy. AND YES, usually in relationships WOMEN change the guys who are in love with them.I know it is a world known cliche, however, this is how it happens most of the time. Usually the person who is head over heels in love with someone, helplessly changes in time by sort of compromising things in the beginning and adopting to a new type of behavior at the end to make things work.Because the one in love is the weakest link in the relationship and is usually eager to give things up.AND ALSO even if he isn’t making 50 mil., he is making a lot. That is for sure as we can all agree… Therefore, they are not right to complain because when the movies will be released back to back , and when people will start seeing these two in different movies, in different costumes and make up , the media frenzy and the craze will fade away. It has always worked this way in Hollywood. Noone is trying to mob Brad Pitt or Keanu Reeves anymore… As a matter of fact , they stopped long ago.Therefore, if these get good advice from people around them, and be patient for a couple of more years , they will walk out with tons of money and lots of new projects in hand. Plus, they are very very young and let’s say in 2 years they won’t even be older than 25. Lots of time to enjoy life with fame and fortune… They are very very lucky.. There are tons of people who really struggle to get auditions and interviews with casting directors.They do all sorts of jobs to support themselves in the meantime. Even if they get jobs, they will have to struggle a lot to get famous and pursue a career in acting for good. Most of them will have to give up and end up doing something they don’t like to make a living. They should know how lucky they are,noone in Hollywood has risen to fame in 5 days so far and they should appreciate it , being thankful to the fans and to the media. They just need to be a little dignified and grounded in the meantime.AND YES, maybe they did not know at the beginning that the movie would be huse success. AND SO ? Is it bad that they made 400 mil. in the box office worldwide ? Or that they just had their salaries increased 6 times? ( it was 2 mil. for twilight and 12 mil. for new moon).Or maybe being a Hollywood A lister in 5 days time hurt their feelings. I’m a romantic…I hope these 2 are together. I like both of them. I do wish Kristen would clean up her language, but, at the same time, she seems the kind of person who would be a true friend. It seems like these 2 have a lot in common and, believe me, friendship with your guy IS the most important thing (I’ve been married almost 20 years and I still think my husband is really very funny and I look forward to going out with him now almost as much as when we were first dating!). You are right on one point. MAYBE Rob is not complaining at all… And there is a good chance that these low class tabloids are making these up to keep their readers interested and sell their issues. If that is the case, Rob’s publicist Stephanie Ritz i think- who follows him almost everywhere, even to a stupid steakhouse or to the posh LeBaoli party at Cannes film festival- should keep a track on the news spread out about him and should read the comments and deny the news at once. It is their job to foresee public reaction and they should know better. Therefore, if these are not his words and are made up, i will really feel sorry and apologetic towards him. But at the very same time, his publicist should come forward and say”Rob did not say these, he loves his fans, please do not rely on the tabloids you read”. Rob & Kristen will be together for some of the promos & Kristen is in Brazil today & Rob is heading to Japan…but I love the Robsten & know they will be doing some promos together, like last night on MTV-it was Taylor, Kristen then Rob & they looked tired. I think they are great & am excited about new moon. going to rent haunted airman & speak.
I think that robert and kristen have the right to keep their quiet considering all the media. It is better that way its their pesonal life and they want to keep it that way. keep your private life private and your professional so they can some peace. When they are ready to come out with it they will hopefully when the hype has died down soon and i hope they decide to get married someday cause they make a very nice couple they fit together pefectally. and the gossip about them having split is very ridicklous. I love them both very actors and she is very nice person and has not changed rob. so whom ever has talked bad about both of them need to stop. And if he is not saying these words, i will feel really apologetic and sorry towards him. I really love his personality. But i mean if these tabloids are manipulating his own words , he can even sue them for misleading the public. I mean his agents should know better and foresee the public reaction better. And they should issue public statements saying that Rob did not use the words in question and that he has got nothing against fans, media or anyone else out there.The problem is they don’t, either they don’t care or he really complains publicly so that they can’t even deny it. Have you watched MTV Ulalume interviews ? He used to be this all smiley , funny , outspoken guy and now he always looks down, avoids speaking. He is all so silent and quiet…He used to speak a lot he was also critized for it. I mean if this has got nothing to do with Kristen and if he is that bored of attention and is unhappy now, he should quit right now. I really am sorry that this guy has lost his humorous,funny and outspoken side in one year only….. There has to be some explanation..
I know that several news sites is talking too much, the truth is unfortunately only everything in life has a price, and each person is in danger pay, and fortunately or unfortunately you are having to undergo these types of comments and speculation about you now more than ever!. I know nothing about you, but about their beautiful work q admire the courage to expose themselves worldwide. then you maybe it was a private person and now his life is being “limited”, explains, hey you think a normal person in the flesh, is flawed, not perfect! leaves, have fun, drink, kiss, flirt, make love … or something like everyone else does, only one difference now is you target the media then this is the price. life was restricted, if you want to be free is to walk with an amount of securities, which for me it would not be freedom.

this is getting out of hand. if rob and kristen are tired of hearing about “hooking up” and “secretly dating” they should do an interview and tell the public they are not dating. when kristen and rob are asked if they are dating eachother, they don’t deny it. they just laugh. oviously there’s something going on, because if they weren’t dating, they would just say “no” and the public would shut up. but they don’t. OK! magazine is not accurate at all, they make up stupid stories that they are getting married, breaking up, moving in together, kristen’s pregnant, it’s complete bullshit. they haven’t even confirmed a relationship yet, if there is one! I mean they say they are just “friends” but we’re not buying it. do “friends” of the opposite sex sleep in the same hotel room? i feel bad for them, because they don’t deserve this, but if they are tired of being asked the same question, just come out and say it already. They look amazing together, and I think they would be so much happier if they could go out in public and show their affection towards eachother. I’m trying not to believe anything magazines say, i want to hear it from rob and kristen.
