SUPERSTARS Jay-Z and Alicia Keys performed their amazing single, Empire State Of Mind, in front of a sell-out crowd at the Yankees Stadium to kick off game 2 of the World Series on Thursday night (October 29).

Wearing a Yankees hat and jacket, Jay-Z sang to a stadium of fans that continued to cheer even when the Brooklyn-born rapper chanted, “I made the Yankee hat more famous than a Yankee can.”

Jay-Z, real name Shawn Carter, recently revealed that he’s planning to become a wedding DJ.

I’ve got a whole plan,” said the star, who’s married to Beyonce Knowles. “I’m gonna get me a little Serato set, some DJ software. I’m gonna work on that for six months, then I’m gonna find out which DJ makes the most and charge double and tour, do bar mitzvahs, weddings.

“I’m gonna have video behind me and dancers. I’m gonna have people just go out and pour champagne when I get to a certain song. I’m going to make a whole show of this thing.

“If you want to book me, book me early, because the prices will be a little better because when I get good, I’m really going to go for it.

“I’m definitely going to go by a different name. I want people to hear it and be like, ‘Wow!’. It’s got to look good in lights.”
