TEEN star Taylor Swift worries she’s not “edgy enough”.
The 19-year-old Love Story hitmaker — who’s rumored to be romancing Twilight hunk Taylor Lautner — hopes that her good behavior won’t disappoint her legions of fans.
“I feel like I disappoint people sometimes because I’m not edgy enough or I don’t throw sharp objects or flip out,” she said. “I feel like in my interviews people don’t believe I’m not drunk or stumbling out of clubs at 6am. They think I’m weird because I’m not.”
Taylor recently insisted that no one forces her to behave herself.
“I’ve been given the freedom to do whatever I want,” she told the UK’s Daily Mail newspaper in an October interview. “I’m 19 — if I want to storm out of the house and go to a club and get drunk and take my clothes off and run naked through Nashville, I can do that. I just really would rather not. It’s as simple as that.
“It’s not like I’ve been beaten down by some corporation that’s forcing me to always behave myself — I just naturally do. Sometimes people are fascinated by the fact that I don’t care about partying, almost to the point where they think it’s weird.
“I think when we get to the point where it’s strange for you to not be stumbling around high on something at 19, it’s a warped world.”
