KANYE West is set to bounce back from that Taylor Swift scandal at the VMAs — he’s reportedly working on material for his fifth studio album.

Kanye — who recently scrapped his joint Fame Kills world tour with Lady GaGa — is apparently recording songs for a follow-up to 2008′s 808s & Heartbreak.

“Kanye’s taking a bit of time away from the limelight. But he keeps telling me all these ideas he has for songs and fashion bits,” Kanye collaborator DJ A Track told British tabloid the Daily Star.

“It’s really amazing just how many ideas he has.”

GaGa recently insisted she and West are still on good terms.

“I didn’t drop Kanye — Kanye and I are friends. We’re still friends,” she said. “When you’re really friends with somebody, you can make difficult decisions, and we made a very difficult decision.

“It was hard on both of us. When we were talking, I said, ‘Even though this isn’t happening right now, I’m going to still go out on the road.

“And he said, ‘Great, I support you.’ And he’s been very supportive.”
