Ashlee Simpson-Wentz ‘Fired Because She Can’t Act’

Ashlee Simpson-Wentz got fired from Melrose Place because producers thought she couldn’t act.

Bosses on the CW network drama apparently only hired the Simpson sister to create buzz for the show.

“They hired her because they needed a good name to help create buzz,” a show insider told Us Weekly magazine.

“But she was embarrassingly bad. Producers cut her down as much as possible.

“She’s the worst actress, but nobody will tell her.”

Meanwhile, Ashlee’s sister Jessica — who used to promote her sibling’s former show regularly on her Twitter — has changed her tune about the series.

On Sunday, the 29-year-old wrote, “CW catching up on MP.who writes this crap?i have had bad scripts to work with,but this?thank God my sister is amazing and got you some press.”

    I have seen Melrose Place, and Ashlee is a bad actress. She wasn’t that good on 7th Heaven. As for Jessica’s hypocritical statement, she wouldn’t know a good script if she read it. She relies on daddy to do all that for her. They are both what I like to call cookie cutter, they are both people who do not perfect their singing, acting, or stage presence. They sing or act only for profit, and not for the art. Most singers and actors care about their art, and put their heart and soul into their craft. Not the Simpson sisters, they only give an average performance for profit. They think their name will carry them. What I can’t believe is producers are still hiring these hacks.
